Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 151
Sanitary Sewer Rehabilitation Project

Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 151 has authorized CZ Construction, LLC to perform sanitary sewer rehabilitation work in your neighborhood. This project is being completed to improve the sewer system within the district.

Construction is expected to begin on or after March 9, 2026.

Homes highlighted on the project plans, including properties located behind easements, will be
part of this work. This notice is for general awareness only. Property-specific 48-hour notices will be provided prior to work beginning in your immediate area.

What Residents Should Expect

  • Crews may work in street right-of-way and front, side, or rear easements
  • Work hours will generally be 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • Equipment, materials, and limited excavations may be present
  • Construction in front of or behind individual homes typically lasts a few days
  • All disturbed areas will be restored after work is completed

Work activities will include cleaning and inspecting sewer lines, point repairs, installation of new pipe within existing lines, reconnection of services, manhole work, and surface restoration. Residents are asked to use caution around construction areas, minimize water use when crews are working nearby, and secure pets for safety.

Welcome to Harris County Municipal Utility District No. 151

The District is a political subdivision of the State of Texas located in northeastern Harris County, Texas, approximately 25 miles from the central business district of the City of Houston. The District is a part of the Atascocita development, a master planned community located adjacent to and west of Lake Houston and bisected by FM 1960. The District, which is located wholly within the extraterritorial jurisdiction of the City of Houston, contains approximately 910 acres of land.

Water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities have been constructed to serve Pinehurst of Atascocita, Sections 5, 6, 8 and 12; Oaks of Atascocita Section 6, Kings River Villas, Kings River Village, Sections 1 through 13, Parkside at Kingwood Glen and Kingwood Glen Village, Section 7 (containing in the aggregate approximately 772 acres developed into 2,351 single family residential lots). As of September 13, 2005, the District had a total of 2,165 single family water connections, of which 2,155 were active single family connections and 10 were inactive single family connections. The District has approximately 90 acres of land contained in easements, rights of way, recreation and open space land. The District also has approximately 48 acres of land which were initially planned for golf course usages, but which is presently undeveloped.
